He researched top causes of death then created a spreadsheet for controllable risk factors (some things just can’t be controlled, of course). Hardly surprising, here’s the list:

It’s interesting, though, how all of the major diseases are caused by the same things: smoking, diet, exercise, alcohol and stress.

1. Stop smoking.

2. Lose weight (if you’re overweight).

3. Exercise.

4. Drink only in moderation.

5. Cut out red & processed meats.

6. Eat fruits & veggies.

7. Reduce salt, and saturated/trans fats.

8. Reduce stress.
