Just received a follow up message from Nivis as a result of my discussions during ISA Expo and the ISA100.11a wireless demonstration from October 5. There was an intriguing statement in the message. Not only is Nivis the only company shipping ISA100 radio/stack products right now, it is investigating a dual boot feature for ISA100.11a and WirelessHart. It plans a Q1 2010 release. Now that has some interesting potential.

Nivis also has an ISA100.11a integration kit for developers of products for the standard.
