Just a quick update during one of the keynotes at the MESA conference in Dearborn, MI. Last night Lou Holtz, coach and ESPN analyst, offered many ideas on leadership that attendees could take back to their jobs and lives. Today Ford Vice President of North America Manufacturing Jim Tetrault talked about the advances his company has made over the past 3.5 years in terms of world-wide manufacturing systems, quality, flexibility, ability to move quickly to changes in market dynamics. Right now Rick Bullotta is speaking on what’s coming and needed in manufacturing software. I’ll have more details and a few pictures later. Gotta take a few more notes.
