I really like the idea of cloud computing, but IMO until a solid Internet connection – with reliability approaching that of your energy service, the service will be more convenient than mainstream or disruptive. You gain some cost savings and efficiencies, but no real fundamental gains.
I'm a strong proponent on paper. As far as the industrial world goes with slow changes, we'll see…
