Some People Think Everything is Easy

Bet this group of people have MBAs from big-time universities. I saw this article in The New York Times about Delta contemplating buying and running a refinery in order to reduce fuel costs. Heck, they can’t run an airline–something they are supposed to know. I have had several conversations with Chris Lyden, who is now with PAS (I met him probably at Invensys, but could have met him earlier) and someone I regard as one of the brightest minds in the business, about the economics of refining. Hey, Chris, maybe they should hire you as a consultant to help them figure out the folly of their ways.  😉
