Matt Littlefield started LNS Research, a new technology research firm, just before I started developing The Manufacturing Connection. Research firms develop thought models around the technologies they follow and then research users and developers to chart technology trends and benefits. Matt brought in Mark Davidson who had been Marketing VP at Invensys from retirement to lead the operations management practice.
It announced today that it has released its Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) Research Library. Comprising research-based best practices and thought leadership publications, the library’s intent is to continuously educate manufacturing executives on emerging technologies. Also included in the library is a best practices guide that provides insight and recommendations for executives looking to learn about or invest in the latest strategies, processes, and supporting software technologies.
