Received an offline comment from Jay Mellon about his company, Savigent (previously known as As One), regarding my post about autonomous agents. He pointed out that his company has constructed something called “reactive” agents. Guess I’ll have to do something more in-depth about agents (but I bet that doesn’t have any booking agents knocking at my door!).
Meanwhile, Jay pointed me to the company blog, Level 3 (from the ISA-95 model) which I’ve added to my favorites list on the right rail of the page.
While looking up that blog, I ran across another one called AutomateZen–someone with a weirder sense of humor than mine.
Oh, and forget the joke, if you’re a booking or literary agent, please call š
Gary:
Thanks for mentioning my blog, Automate-Zen and including it in your favorites list on Feed Forward. Itās true that I have a weird sense of humor, but it keeps me young!
On a serious note, I really appreciate your previous post and Jonās comment on Better to be Poor than a Liar. I have been in the Automation Business over 32 years and appreciate working with honorable people. āEthicalā People do matter more than technology and that is the key to success in any business.
Respectfully,
Shane
Thanks Shane. Glad I stumbled upon your site. Keep up the good work.
I love this business–the people are much more ethical and straight-forward than those in some other businesses I've been in. I could tell you stories…
